Cath Potter

Publishing Director

I began working in trade publishing aged 21 and through working on a range of magazines found myself covering such diverse roles as reporting from a coal face, inspecting cement plants, and sampling Australian wines (some of which I liked more than others!). After a stint of travelling I then worked for a busy contract publisher in London as a chief sub, and moved to join Future Publishing's craft division in 1995. I joined Origin in 1999 working as an editor, managing editor and later moved into a publishing role. I have been Publishing Director for three years and really enjoy the variety of being involved to varying extents in the craft, hair and wedding markets.
