Immediate Media Co releases wedding hair app

Now available in the Apple App Store, Wedding Hairstyles has been released to coincide with seasonal peaks in both the hair and wedding markets. The app is packed with 150 bridal hairstyles, each expertly selected by the team behind the UK’s number one hair magazine. Each hairstyle is accompanied by top hints and tips for creating the look, as well as advice ranging from face shape suitability and ease of wear, to how to incorporate a veil.

The app is categorised into six key sections including updos, curls and wedding hair accessories. Users can add hairstyles to a favourites list for quick reference, or choose to share styles with a friend or hairdresser.

The Wedding Hairstyles app was developed in-house by the Immediate Media Co digital team, and follows the release in December 2011 of the interactive hair tutorial app ‘Style Genius: 50 DIY Styles’, launched by Hair Ideas’ sister title Your Hair.

The app will be promoted across Immediate Media Co’s Hair portfolio and recently expanded Weddings portfolio which, following an acquisition announced in January 2012, now includes You & Your Wedding, alongside previously published title Perfect Wedding.
