Loveyourhair.com receives a stunning makeover

27 January 2010

Origin Publishing has relaunched its unique online hair inspiration site Loveyourhair.com with a fashion-forward new look, and fantastic new interactive ways of engaging with its users.

The redesigned site features a daily news feed that brings users the very latest celeb gossip, alongside insider information on the hottest new products and fabulous salons. Experts including Andrew Barton, Lisa Shepherd, Trevor Sorbie and current British Hairdresser of the Year Akin Konizi, share their top tips and advice and answer reader questions on the 'Hair Help' page. Plus an embedded video service – 'Hair TV' features step-by-step tutorials from TIGI for brilliant styling at home, as well as behind the scenes footage from L’Oreal, James Brown and TONI&GUY.

The site now offers an online shop boasting hundreds of styling and hair care products, along with reviews to help users find the product that is right for them. A virtual makeover tool - 'Celeb Hair Styler' - gives visitors the chance to experiment with celebrity hairstyles for free.

A reader forum and regular polls allow users to get involved and interact with others in the Loveyourhair.com community and the team. The weekly Loveyourhair.com newsletter, Twitter feed and Facebook page offer extra ways of keeping up to date with the very latest trends and with everything else style enthusiasts need to know to get great hair.

Fantastic prizes, ranging from styling kits and product packs to luxury makeover days are available to win through the competitions page each month.

The new-look site will be promoted in a range of Origin Publishing's women's magazines including Your Hair, Blonde Hair and Hair Ideas.

Michelle Tiernan, Editor of Loveyourhair.com and Origin’s hair titles commented: "We are so thrilled with the new look Loveyourhair.com! We have had a fantastic response from users – they are voting on our polls, using our Celebrity Hair Styler, entering our competitions and watching our videos. They've signed up to our newsletter in their thousands and they are searching for new styles each week. We feel the site is a fabulous extension of our brand, and it encompasses what we want to give our readers – a place where they’ll find everything they need to get beautiful hair."
