An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and creative Junior Designer/Developer to help continue the success and growth of its thriving portfolio of websites.

Head of Digital
 
About the role:         
Working within the digital team you will assist editorial teams as they add content to their websites, designing eye-catching graphics and using HTML, CSS and Flash to build web pages and banner advertisements. You will also be responsible for designing, building and sending regular e-newsletter and marketing communications, applying a well developed knowledge of HTML to create robust email templates. As the point of contact for several websites, you will also build good relationships with internal and external clients and be able to report back on the site performance to stakeholders.
 
The successful candidate will have a keen eye for design, a passion for websites and have a good technical knowledge. They must also be competent with Photoshop or Fireworks, and be able to hand-code HTML for e-newsletters and email marketing. Experience with Drupal, Flash, CSS and Google Analytics would be favourable, but not essential.

Key responsibilities:

Skills and experience required:
Essential
·         A recognised qualification in web design/development
·         Experience of Photoshop or Fireworks
·         Experience of HTML
 
Desirable
  • Experience of Drupal, jQuery, CSS and/or Google Analytics
